250 Beers for 250 Years
Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday by helping Beer Drinkers of America collect 250 unique beers from across the United States.
Help us collect 250 unique beers from BDOA members across the United States to create one incredible commemorative poster celebrating America’s 250th birthday.
Every approved submission will become part of the official 250 Beers for 250 Years collection and will be featured on our final commemorative poster.
Whether your favorite beer is a local craft brew or a national classic, we want to see what you’re representing.

How It Works
Joining the challenge is simple.
Step 1
Choose a beer that has not already been approved for the collection.
Step 2
Take a photo that includes:
- Yourself
- One unique beer
- Your official BDOA membership card
Step 3
Submit your photo using the submission form.
If your beer is approved, it will become part of the official collection and appear on the final commemorative poster.
Photo Requirements
To keep the final poster looking consistent, please follow these guidelines.
Your photo must include:
- Yourself
- One beer with the label clearly visible
- Your official BDOA membership card
Photo Example:
For the best results:
- Hold the beer and membership card at about chest height.
- Face the camera.
- Use portrait (vertical) orientation.
- Make sure your face, beer label, and membership card are easy to see.
- Use good lighting.
- Submit a high-quality photo.
Beer Eligibility
Each specific beer may only appear once in the collection.
Examples:
✅ PBR
✅ Coors Banquet
✅ Modelo Especial
These are all different beers and may each be submitted.
However, once a specific beer has been approved, it cannot be submitted again.
The first approved submission for each beer will secure that beer’s place in the collection.

This list will be updated regularly as new submissions are accepted.

The Final Poster
Once we reach 250 unique beers, every approved submission will be combined into one commemorative poster celebrating:
250 Years. 250 Beers. One Nation.
The finished poster will feature BDOA members from across the country and will become a permanent piece of Beer Drinkers of America history.
Printed posters will be available for purchase.
Prize
Every approved participant earns a place on the official 250 Beers for 250 Years commemorative poster.
In addition, one approved participant will be randomly selected to receive a free printed commemorative poster.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. This project is exclusive to Beer Drinkers of America members.
At this time, each member may submit one beer so more members have the opportunity to participate.
You’ll simply need to choose another unique beer and submit a new photo.
The challenge ends when 250 unique beers have been collected or on July 31, whichever comes first.
Yes. By submitting your photo, you grant Beer Drinkers of America permission to use it for the 250 Beers for 250 Years project, including the commemorative poster, website, social media, email newsletters, and future promotional materials related to this project.
