The 3rd Annual Turkey Leg

Presented by Beer Drinkers of America

The Turkey Leg is back for 2026!

This national BDOA competition challenges members across the country to see who can kick the longest field goal and earn the title of 2026 Turkey Leg Champion.

The winner will also have their name added to the BDOA Champion Plaque.

How It Works

• Choose your kicking distance
• You get up to 3 attempts at each distance
• Make at least one kick to advance
• Miss all 3 attempts and you’re eliminated
• The longest successful field goal wins

Athletic shoes or rubber cleats are recommended.

Compete From Anywhere

Can’t participate with a Chapter? You can submit your kicks remotely.

For your submission:

• Start your video by showing your BDOA Member ID
• Announce the distance of your kick
• Record all attempts clearly
• Make sure the kicking distance is shown or identified
• Video clips may be combined, but attempts must remain in order
• No re-dos or editing tricks — the competition runs on the honor system

Submit your video by tagging Beer Drinkers of America on Instagram or Facebook, or email it to Hayden@beerdrinkersofamerica.org.

Compete, have some fun, and see if you have the leg to become the 2026 Turkey Leg Champion.
