Whats Next? What to do After You Join.
Membership in Beer Drinkers of America is about showing up, taking part, and helping build something bigger—locally and nationwide. Here are the ways members get involved.
1. Get Connected
Connect with members across your city, state, and the country.
- Join your state’s BDOA Facebook group to connect locally
- Join the BDOA Discord to connect nationwide
- Follow us on Instagram for Trivia and news
- Reach out to the BDOA team with questions or ideas – comment below, or email me: Hayden@beerdrinkersofamerica.org
2. Join or Start a Chapter
Start a local Chapter once you have 20 members in one geographical area.
- Check if a Chapter already exists in your city
- Learn the requirements for starting a Chapter
- Launch a Chapter once your city reaches 20 members
- Host the National Championship Plaque
3. Compete in Challenges
Put your skills to the test and take part in various competitions and contests throughout the year. Come together with other members for singles, doubles and team based competitions.

- Join pop-up competitions, contests and member exclusive giveaways (Instagram)
- Take part in weekly trivia (Instagram) (Hang Man, Beer Wordle)
- Win and get your name on the National Championship Plaque
- Suggest ideas for future challenges
4. Attend Events & Socials
Meet members face-to-face and take part in organized activities.
- Attend local Chapter meetups and socials
- Participate in Chapter-hosted competitions
- Join regional or national BDOA events
- Help plan or host events in your city
- Coordinate informal meetups through Discord or Facebook
5. Share Ideas & Feedback
Members can help shape the organization by submitting ideas for challenges, suggesting event or Chapter activities, recommending partnerships, and providing feedback to improve the member experience. 7. Submit to the National Newsletter
Every two months we send out our newsletter that talks about Members, Chapters, BDOA News, and Member features. As a Member you can submit blurbs to be in the Newsletter. These can be for yourself, or in recognition of another Member that did something awesome.
