The 2025 Turkey Leg – Beer Drinkers of America
Join us for The 2nd Annual Turkey Leg, presented by Beer Drinkers of America! This social puts wannabe kickers against each other in a longest field goal competition. Test your leg strength, compete for bragging rights, and see if you have what it takes to be crowned the 2025 Turkey Leg Champion!
Chapters and members all around the USA are encouraged to get involved for a chance to be crowned the National Champion and get your name on the BDOA Champion Plaque.

When: 10 am on November 22, 2025
Where: Claggett Creek Park (Google Map Location)
Cost: Free for BDOA members | $2 donation to charity for non-members

2025 Turkey Leg Rules
- Kicking: Select a distance and attempt up to three kicks. Advance by making at least one out of three.
- Elimination: Missing three attempts in a row at a chosen distance.
- Longest Kick Wins: The member who makes the longest successful field goal will be crowned National Champion and get their name on the Trophy/Plaque.
- Drink Responsibility: Enjoy a cold one while competing, but respect the rules and others around you.
- Proper Footwear: Athletic shoes or rubber cleats encouraged.
Remote Entry – Compete from Anywhere
Enter remotely and compete for the Turkey Leg title from anywhere.
How to Enter:
- Verification: Start your video showing your BDOA ID card and announce the distance for each set of kicks.
- Film Your Kicks: Record each kick make sure to show all attempts.
- Distance Marking: Clearly indicate the distance of each kick in your video.
- Clipped Videos Allowed: You may combine clips but keep them in sequential order.
- Fair Play: No re-dos or editing tricks—honor system and scouts honor and all that good stuff. Don’t cheat!
