Yes. Membership is intended for people of legal drinking age in the United States (21+). Some events may allow under 21 participants depending on location and format (Like our UNO Tournament).
No. BDOA is about beer culture and community. What you drink is up to you.
No. Participate as much or as little as you want. Membership doesn’t expire based on attendance.
Chapters are local groups of 20+ members in a geographic area. They host meetups, events, and compete nationally.
The Championship Plaque is the highest national honor in BDOA. Winners of official national competitions earn their name on the plaque, representing both themselves and their Chapter.
Membership cards are shipped via USPS in a stamped envelope (no tracking). Cards are printed every 3–4 days and typically arrive within 3–4 days after shipping. All other packages include tracking information.
