Cool Beer Facts You Probably Didn’t Know!

This will be an ever growing list. I hope others will comment and build upon these!

1. When the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, one of the main reasons listed in their log was that they had run out of beer. (Have only heard this, we haven’t found a good credible source yet.)

2. Beer is one of the oldest beverages in the world, dating back to 5000BC.

3. Builders of the Giza pyramids in Egypt received wages in the form of bread and beer rations (NPR)
